Photography competition

Greetings to all ICAHM members, and those considering joining ICAHM. As an official ICOMOS ISC, we are always looking for opportunities to celebrate the great diversity of our archaeological heritage management. We are, therefore, excited to announce a photography competition that promotes the rich archaeological heritage of the World.

We are inviting all members to submit their own photographs of archaeological heritage that celebrates the great diversity that enriches our archaeological heritage and captures the imagination.

The twelve winning entries will be printed and displayed at the ICAHM booth during the GA 2023 ISC Forum on 5 September 2023 (7-8.30 pm) and be used to create a 2024 ICAHM calendar, which will be available at this same event. The winners will be announced prior to the GA. All entries will be retained within an ICAHM image library for possible future use.

Each image must be of sufficiently hi-resolution to be reproduced at A3 size with no loss of resolution (300dpi minimum, which is 3508×4961 pixels at A3). The preferred format will be TIFF or PNG.

The owner of each image must sign the form below to grant to ICAHM the non-exclusive cessation of rights to reproduce and use all or part of that image.

Please submit your entry photo (and title) to the ICAHM Administrative Secretary (matt [@]whincoparchaeology.com.au) along with a copy of the signed form. Inadequate image quality or omission/incomplete copyright form will constitute an invalid entry.

Prof. John Peterson (ICAHM President) is an avid nature and landscape photographer. He has the unenviable task of selecting only 12 images from the expected flood of photo submissions! Thank you all for your submissions.
