It is with great sadness that we must announce that the 2019 ICAHM Meeting that was supposed to be held 29 November to 6 December in Arica, Chile has been canceled. It is apparent that the situation has deteriorated further and it is not safe to travel to Arica. We have persevered to continue the conference despite problems in Santiago, but now must acknowledge the grave danger to participants. We would like to extend a very warm thanks to everyone that worked so hard in the preparation of the Meeting.

*** Full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students are eligible for student rate.
** **An accompanying person is a spouse, friend or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a science related occupation or field. A colleague or associate working in a related sciences field or a student in a archaeology related program may not attend the conference as an accompanying person. Accompanying persons will not be delegates at the conference, and will not attend the conference scientific program.
The Accompanying Person fee includes admission to all social events.

Conditions for Cancellation
Cancellation received before 1 November: full refund of the registration fee less € 30 handling fee.
After 1 November 2019: no refund.
The Conference Secretariat must be notified in writing by e-mail to email@example.com about the cancellation of the registration.
The appropriate refunds will be made after the conference. Exchange rates differences and bank charges will be deducted.
If you are prevented from attending for a serious reason, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes should be notified in writing to Conference Secretariat to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Letter of Invitation
If you require a visa, we advise you to obtain and submit an official Letter of Invitation from the conference organizers to help facilitate the visa process. Please note that Letters of Invitation are only issued to registered and paid/approved delegates. You can request a Letter of Invitation via email@example.com.
